The Virginia women's basketball team lost for the third time in the last four games, as the Cavaliers fell 61-49 at Boston College Thursday night.
UVA (15-9, 7-6 ACC) was trailing by two at halftime, but were outscored 28-18 in the second half by the Eagles (10-14, 4-9 ACC).
Former St. Anne's-Belfield star Sarah Imovbioh had 12 points and a career-high 15 rebounds for Virginia.
The double-double was the first for the sophomore since December 29th.
Boston College connected on 8-of-18 three-point attempts in the win.
UVA returns to action Sunday, as the Cavaliers host #7 Maryland at 5 pm.
