Actor Kevin Whately

Kevin Whately has been supporting our bid to become the next EDF Energy charity partner. You can help us win this ?600,000 opportunity by spreading the word.

Kevin said:

'I have been working with Alzheimer?s Society ever since my Mum developed Alzheimer's disease around the time of the Millennium. I know your hard work has won countless partnerships in the past and I know what a difference this partnership with EDF Energy would make to the lives of thousands of people affected by dementia. Thank you for your support.'

All EDF Energy employees can vote until 28 January 2013. We are up against some very stiff competition so we're asking our supporters to spread the message by email, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Please send the following message to your friends, family and professional networks anyway you can:

'Know anyone who works for EDF Energy? Please ask them to choose Alzheimer?s Society in their charity vote alzheimers.org.uk/edf'

If we are successful EDF Energy could fund over 19,000 hours of vital one-to-one advice through our Dementia Support Workers. We don?t want anyone to go through dementia alone and with the help of EDF Energy, thousands of people like Kevin and his Mum will get the help they need.

Find out more about the partnership.
